Harvey Daniels
Harvey Daniels (1936-2013)
was a well known painter and printmaker of abstracts with leanings towards Pop Art earlier in his career. He studied at Willesden School of Art and the Slade School, London, during which time he also visited Paris to paint. He was a member of the London Group and the Printmakers Council of Great Britain, and had many solo shows in the UK and abroad. His work is held in a number of important public collections including the Tate Gallery; MOMA, NYC; the Metropolitan Museum, NYC; the V&A London; the British Council; Leeds City Art Gallery, Yale University Art Gallery and Bergens Kunstforening, Norway. Harvey Daniels lived and worked in France for some years.
