Eileen Cooper

Eileen Cooper, RA (b1953)

is a well-known British painter and printmaker. Born in Derbyshire, she studied at Goldsmiths College (1971-74), and then the Royal College of Art (1974-77). She lectured Printmaking at the Royal College of Art between 1994 and 2006, and later became Head of Printmaking at the Royal Academy Schools in 2005 until 2010. Elected a Royal Academician in 2001.
