Brian Plummer
Brian Plummer, PS (born 1934)
is a well-known painter and maker of reliefs. He was born in London and studied art at Hornsey School of Art 1954-57 then at the Royal Academy Schools 1957-60. Brian Plummer has shown extensively at the Royal Academy from 1961 and he has had numerous solo shows, including with the Drian Galleries, London 1965; Sloane Street Gallery, London 1980; Abbot Hall, Kendal 1984; Maquarie Galleries, Sydney, Australia 1988; Piano Nobile, Fine Art, London 2001; the Adze Gallery, York 2003/2004; and the Porthminster Gallery, St Ives. He is a member the Pastel Society and has also exhibited with the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour. His work is held in a number of public collections in the UK and abroad, including the UK Government Art Collection, Lancaster University, and the Bruce Castle Museum in north London..
