Title: ‘Waddington Suite Working Drawing B’ 1968

Description: This original gouache with pencil titled ‘Waddington Suite – Working Drawing B’ was exhibited at the Arnolfini Gallery in Bristol and it has the two gallery labels on the backboard. The work is signed by Robyn Denny and dated (19)68. It may be the case that this work was exhibited at the Arnolfini at the Denny show in 1971 when it was priced at £130 although the labels are not dated. The Waddington Suite was an iconic group of late 1960s prints which helped to cement Denny’s reputation as a major British abstract artist. The work is in good condition and we have had it reframed to a high standard including with conservation glass.
