Title: Park Scene by the River

Description: An original painting in watercolour on clay coated paper which was then varnished, a technique unique to F Donald Blake. It gave his watercolours far greater ‘wall presence’. This work is signed by the artist lower right and although not dated we think it is probably from the 1970s. At that time he was living in Wimbledon, London SW19. He often painted by the side of the River Thames in London. There are no labels verso to help in identifying the exact location. The painting is in very good original condition.
