September 2021 update
We are pleased to announce our latest update to the website, for the August Bank Holiday period / September 2021. There is a large, relatively early mining painting oil on canvas over board, from the early 1970s, by the Durham painter and miner, Tom McGuinness (1926-2006) and a fine large watercolour from 1992 of St Mary in the Castle (Hastings) by Gus Cummins (born 1943), who is a senior Royal Academician. In addition we have a typical oil painting of an Essex industrial subject from 1960 by Joyce Pallot, a small figure subject in mixed media by Jacob Bornfriend, a good size vigorous mixed media painting of a French harbour by Paul Maze(1887-1979) and an early abstract painting by Gary Wragg (born 1946). There is also a stunning (and comfortable) black leather Semana easy chair from the 1990s, designed by David Weeks for Habitat.
There is a lot more in the ‘pipeline’ including ten abstract paintings by Bernard Kay (1927-2021).
If you would like to be kept up to date with our latest updates before they are live on our social media channels, please subscribe to our email mailing list which can be found at the top of the website.
Thank you as always for your continuing interest.
