Peter Potworowski – An exhibition of works

We are pleased to announce the launch of an exhibition comprising twenty works by Peter Potworowski (1898-1962), the Polish artist who came to live in Britain from 1942 to 1958. He lectured at Corsham in Wiltshire for some years, working with William Scott, Peter Lanyon and others, and he took the opportunity to paint in Cornwall as well as in France, Spain and Italy. He returned to Poland in 1958. Potworowski’s work is held in many important collections. All the works in this online exhibition are from the estate of his second wife, Doreen Heaton Potworowska. We have had all the paintings and drawings framed to a high standard. Secure shipping is at no additional charge within the UK. Viewing in person is possible if required.
