July 2025 update

We have added a selection of new works to the website for July. This includes an oil on canvas from 1928 by Elliott Seabrooke PLG (1886-1950), a good abstract oil on board from the early 1960s by the Corsham School artist Anthony Curtis RWS (1928-2018), a 1950s French village scene oil on canvas by Josselin Bodley (1893-1974), an abstract oil on paper from 1968 by the South African and St Ives artist Douglas Portway (1922-1993), a preparatory sketch from 1962 by Anthony Benjamin (1931-2002) for the Trend exhibition in 1963 at Manchester Institute of Contemporary Arts featuring Benjamin, Joe Tilson and Gwyther Irwin, an abstract painting in gouache from 1987 by William Gear RA (1915-1997) and a carved sculpture in Purbeck marble by Will Spankie (b1967).

We are excited to announce that we will be included in this year’s Armchair Art Fair Catalogue launching in September. More details shall follow nearer the time.
