New works to the website includes a striking abstract composition from 1974 by the German artist Francis Bott (1904-1998). A painter, sculptor and designer noted for his surrealist works during the 1930s and 1940s and later for geometric abstraction. Also included is a modernist street scene in Bruges from 1945 by the German born émigre Walter Nessler (1912-2001), a Fifeshire Landscape mixed media painting by Stewart Lees RWS, RSW, ROI (1926-2008), an oil on canvas painting by Jean Leslie (1916-2010) sold at the Royal Scottish Academy exhibition, two gouache abstract works by the former head of print making at the Royal College of Art, Alistair Grant RBA, ARCA (1925-1997), an abstract in acrylic and collage by the Welsh artist Tom Nash RCamA (1931-2013), an etching by Anthony Gross RA, LG (1905-1984), an oil of Heaton Mersey near Stockport by Ian Grant ARCA (1904-2993), and lastly a lovely drinks trolley made by Merrow Associates of Guildford c1960s.
