Title: Lovers in the Woods

Description: An original painting in gouache, dating from circa 1949/50, taken from one of the artist’s early sketchbooks. It is one of two unsigned works on paper we have by Cliffe from this period, the provenance of which is the artist’s estate sale. We have had the work framed to a high standard, with a hand-made deep cut double mount and premium anti-reflective ‘invisible’ glass with good UV protection. The work will be accompanied by an ‘HC estate’ sticker.
