Title: A Collage – ‘Summer View from the Artist’s Window’

Description: An original collage (assorted pieces of painted paper stuck by the artist on to a paper based backing board to form an image) which is signed by him lower right and dated there by him ‘circa 1977’. The collage is in generally good order for its age with strong colour retention. There are one or two relatively minor creases to the paper and a short tear to the paper on the bottom edge but otherwise the work appears to be very much as the artist intended. The view is of the garden at the artist’s home in Redhill, Surrey.

The frame appears to have been fitted some twenty or thirty years ago. It is in generally good condition.
