Title: HV 1978 Cross III

Description: An original PVA painting on paper. The work is annotated at the top HV (for Higher Vorvas, the artist’s home in Cornwall) and dated 1978. It is in good original condition. It is mounted on a painted backboard which is dated 1980 verso. We are unsure if this was a mistake, or the artist used a different backboard at a later date to present the work. It is housed in its original pine frame which shows some wear but is presentable.

The work is part of our Bryan Illsley: Through the Decades exhibition. All of the works included are from the artist’s family.
