Title: ‘Tobacco Harvesters’

Description: A framed original etching, signed in the plate twice, featuring a tobacco harvest at Le Boulvé in France. The work is also pencil signed by the artist in the margin at lower right and titled lower left and numbered there from an edition of 50 prints. This print is listed in Robin Herman’s book The Prints of Anthony Gross, A Catalogue Raisonné, as 5702 (Reynolds 185), and it was published in 1957. The print is in very good original condition. The frame appears to be the original and is in generally good condition. We have had a new good quality mount made for it and the etching has now been fitted with Artglass AR70 glazing.
